I am a passionate developer seeking to join a Go, Python, Java, or Solidity team. Not only did I have the top score on the Oct 2018 CSPA exam, I also scored the highest in mock interviews in a school hiring event for Tesla. Beyond testing and academia, I also have plenty of projects going on that hopefully demonstrate my desire to learn and knowledge necessary to a successful production team.
My internship at RE Technology helped me to progress greatly as a developer. I managed CMS front ends, such as Joomla! and Drupal and also developed the back-end using PHP. My CTO also taught me how to effectively push into project repositories through a proper CI/CD pipeline. The experience I gained in repository work and team collaboration will surely translate well to any technological application within the company.
I’ve written HTTP and socket scripts in Python to gain a stronger understanding of network theory. I am also currently building out a joke REST API with some colleagues which will allow a request to choose a programming language of choice and then prints out random errors specific to that language. I am also learning Go to dive deeper into distributed development and Solidity to make my own dApps.
My strengths are strong back-end and computer science fundamentals as well as great communication skills. In reference to the hiring event for the school, I also led the study groups for that event which focused on data structure fundamentals and system design. My technical weakness is front-end design. I am fixing that by building my own SPA portfolio site with React (which will be linked very soon!).

I am confident that I have the open mind for learning, attention to detail, and communication/problem solving skills necessary to effective software development you are looking for and will be a great asset to your expanding team.
